What huge leaves ! We have the Paulownia , but I believe they are
the P. tomentosa. Their leaves are not this large. Lovely shot.

P. tomentosa is quite beautiful, especially when in bloom. One can buy that at the better gardening stores. I actually do not know who would sell P. elongata by the piece as ornamental, likely nobody. If you stand next to a 3 year old seedling, you think you are a tiny ant in front of a tall weed leering up. Not really a popular effect.

The Empress Tree is not meant to become very pretty ever, just big and tall soon as the fastest growing hard wood in the world. They are probaply destinied to become wood central heating pellets in 6 or 7 years already.
