Ohhh, such a pretty butterfly! We don't have this one in Eastern USA ... don't know about rest of country. Love this photo.

This is the most common Satyrinae of Europe, with a range from northern Africa to the south of Norway where ever we got enough forest. It is more or less our answer to your Little Wood Satyr which is in some ways even prettier at least I got very fond of your Megisto cymela and we got a rarer forest butterfly in Europe looking more like your Satyrs, called Wood Nymph, but of this one I did see none this year sadly....
