Well on its way to China it would appear ;)

Or australia perhaps..... ;o)
Actally this is one of the downsides of the new healthy enclosure. Whilst the area is stinking now less infernally and the number of ugly plastic pieces in the surrounds went down dramatically, boar finding no handouts are given to harm trees worse than beavers. That guy is successfully striping a root far outside any baffle.

They should "ring" them like farmers do with domestic pigs to keep them from digging up the whole planet ;) Simple solution and humane. Granted, it cuts into the whole living-like-in-the-wild dream, but, in the wild they would have huge forest territories to root around in leaf litter and such to keep them too busy to be destroying trees.... I'm actually surprised they even keep these pesky animals on display at all.

Not here. It's already outlawed since several years. There are still "Nasenkrampen" and "Ruesselringe" in online argrarshops the biofarmer with comercially kept outdoor pigs may buy freely (altough the use itself is not legal), but if they are cought with pierced pigs and ratted out by animal activists they are in trouble. In a public wildlife park where it is the aim humans can watch boar doing what boar do, this would last no week and end in a public shitstorm.

Well, I've seen the destruction they can cause in the wild and I'm not surprised it's now an 'issue' that needs dealing with!
