Molasses errode at an other speed as your granite. But there will always be little places for new life.
In his root earring to the lower left almost beow the walkway was a wren raising her clutch when we visited. Unfortunately it was so dark and gloomy, to get a bearable pic of her was not within my ability, although I saw her several times drag in food and fly off again. :o)
