Impressive dam, built in Canyon?

Grisley -- There was already a comperably big natural lake where melting and rain water collected before forming a wild brook, it was improved into a even bigger manmade reservoir in the 20th century , so this is a high elevation dam lake but rather round in shape and surounded by the near low side peaks and rocky ridges of surrounding mountains, almost reminding of a huge volcanic crater lake and a bit surprising.
