@nellyb: Yes, there was a filter, but not much, just a little bit color correction and brightness.

My "all-the-time" -lens. It's very good and the price is very cheap for the performance of the lens.

@Daniel. I thought it as the Tamron. I'm starting to build my Glass Army. So this oneis on my list. And I agree that the price is awesome for the specs, specially the f/2.8.

Just for curiosity, do you know anyone who has tried their 70-200mm f/2.8 lens? I am a little worried of it's handheld performance as it's lacks the image stabilization.

I just ordered a Tamron 28 - 75/f2.8. Keeping my fingers crossed. Should get it in 2 weeks :D
