The place to share your macro photography

Welcome to the Macro photogroup

I started this photogroup to see what other folks are doing with their macro rigs (either macro mode or a true macro lenses or adaptors).

What is macro photography? A good reference is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrophotography

It's pretty obvious what goes here: choking close-ups of pieces of large things, or choking close-ups of entire very small things.

Well, I guess if you use a microscope to take the photo it may belong over at a "Photomicroscopy" photogroup, but otherwise anything pretty much goes.

I spend entirely too much time chasing tiny things around with my camera. Today I _almost_ got a nice photo of a very odd looking flying insect.
