Just a note of encouragement!

Hi, this is just a note for those who are unsure what that "CreativeCommons"-license is good for and if it is worthy to use this license.
I think - next to sympathy - there are two big reasons now that really count for me to use this license:
First - if you want your images to be seen or found by others who could enjoy them or have fun with them: The Creative-Commons search engines (offical meta cc-search-engine) that do only search for work based on this license is a plus factor. - I myself use these engines to search for images - if needed.
The second one is the encouraging one ;)
There are a lot of my images used for noncommercial purposes. However the first (and so far only) image that I got paied for is an image that I released under the attribution-noncommercial-share-alike-license. This should be good to know for those who think that they 'could loose' some rights while using this license that gives more rights to others.
However I think that the most of my images should be able just to be used for noncommercial purposes. As... let's say pupil magazines or noncommercial creative work. - And to be cited and maybe linked to my original work is an honor for me - a great fun ... and special enjoyment :)
And you? - Do you have special stories with this license? Tell them here maybe - and let us know about your experience with these rights!

I wonder whether 23 is found in the official meta cc-search engine :)
Anyway, since I licensed screenshots of my operating system I used in a blog post under a CC license, they could also be used in the official release announcement of the new version :)
(And I wouldn't care about commercial purposes either - I make my photos for fun, not for a living)
I'd like to see that picture you got paid for :)
