Not all effordless.... there are 4 cabin lifts in this valley working also in summer and they do connect many trails to walk along the ridge high up or to reach the tree line and even better overlooks. I would never manage to get all the way up on the saddle and back again in the same day if walking up from the village. From the top station we where busy enough for like 6 hours which is by far more than the time estimate on trail markers, in part for just looking around , bird and wildflower watching, in part for being not that nimble and shapely as can be and needing a bit of time to shove ye olde bum around and have the breath catch up. ;o)
