"Alpine Rose" is a wild rhododendron species in spite of the name. It is specialized to higher elevation environments and can do with amazingly little soil. :)

Yes, mramshaw, that stuff got a bit hairy leaves, a survival strategy of many plants in places with hot days and cold nights. :)

I noted about Captcha testing our human inteligence so hard now I often fail. I had to click on every tea at one point yesterday, and there was a fastfood shop with a lidded cup sans a clue. I figured it could as well be ice tea in there, selected it and failed. So next time I had to select the pizza, I omited what I thought to be a thick quiche or tartelet, failed again. Blah!
Why is it they have so many foody test pics anyways? Whose diet do they want to bust? LOL
