The ladybugs are real and share this property with us for about 10 months a year. I have been here 24 years, and they have been coming here longer then that. This is their migration spot and they come by the billions to party down, lay eggs, and then head off to ladybug heaven. They will often completely cover an object. Sometimes they bunch up in the sun on the fence and make a solid 8 or 10 foot glistening red mass.
