View from "Old Beach" Overlook / Blick vom Aussichtpunkt "Altes Strandbad"
Zoomend in some to see more of the city and the umkempt muddy floodline past the reed bed. I can alas find no information how long ago the facility was buily back and abandoned. 2004 the "New Beach" seemed already an old institution to me, only the NSG used this name for the overlook already, so I guess long ago this was the swimming spot. Today the beach is off limits, you can only go up a ramp to a balcony above the reedbelt. / Etwas herangezogen um mehr von der Stadt und dem Schlickufer der Hochwasserzone jenseits vom Schilfguertel zu sehen. Leider habe ich nie eine Geschichte vom "Alten Strandbad"gefunden. 2004 sah jedenfalls das "Neue Strandbad"schon ziemlich alt und etabliert aus, nur das Naturschutzgebiet bezeichnete diesen Aussichtspunkt so, da denke ich mal das war mal das lokale Freibad. Heute ist da naturlich strictes Betretungsverbot, nur zur Ranpe auf die Plattform uber dem Schilf gibt es einen Weg. |
