that's where I work now. We are an NGO on the health area. It is a pediatric clinic with many medical specialties. All for free, and technically supported by Albert Einstein Hospital.

Paraisópolis is a huge poor area surrounded by a very very rich neighborhood. Within just 1 km2, around 80,000 people live in necessity. See the map: http://j.mp/9Ch0WL

80,000 people, that's like the 10th largest town na Republica Tcheca :)) not within 1km2 though ;)
Euz, see the "social responsibility" link on the hospital's website. or is your NGO more independent from the hospital, kodaky? having other resources and activities in other places too?

Unfortunately, we don't have an independent website and there's too little information on hospital's.

The NGO is funded by Hospital and Government incentives. I've already worked at other social responsibility projects and for the first time, there's no need to worry about funding. After all, that's a Jewish organisation. hehehe
