Joachim Oschlag plus

I'm doing some research on my family tree who are descended from the 18th century from Wolf Yenkel Oszlak. The name has been changed over the generations my grand father Samuel anglicised it to Oshlack when he arrived in Australia during the 1930's

His brothers Wolf and Jacob spelt it as your name is spelt oschlag. These two brothers lived in Scandinavia. They both had children to the same woman Paula Kateman? As well as a number of children to other wives. Wolf married a Marel Rosenberg and a Helene Blumenthal? While Jacob also married someone I dont know. These two great uncles of mine had a great number of children and grand children.

Are you descendant of Wolf or Jacob.

One of my sons who is a computer engineer is interested in getting a family site so we can swap histories stories etc

My family tree has a lot of spaces to fill in especially all our scandinavian cousins.
