Love it! The old brick and the new buildings just behind it.. One of these Chinese gardens should exist every few city blocks :)

Hmm, I do seem to be drawn to red brick, don't I?

There's a very nice garden in Merritt, I usually stop there to admire it.

That one is a result of the wartime internments, this one is still connected to a community.

I will have to go by and look again, but the courtyard through the arch has a statue, and I think the facing building is part of the complex. There is also a gift shop and a part you have to pay for (by donation I think), so I pretty much always enjoy visiting. With some food from the nearby Chinatown for noshing on.
