I wanted to upload this for 'Nachbarnebenan' to show how important eyes are. This was in the wild, but kudos to all who tag their photos as 'zoo' as it's a bit of a cheat to not do so.

There were some first-year deer wandering around last summer. This young stag is keeping a rear-guard eye on me as the others parade off.

Resized for the web but otherwise uncropped and unprocessed. If I did, I would rotate it a little and crop slightly to make the head more prominent.

Handsome fella.... I prefer their White-Tailed cousins. Great capture, though! Especially for a wild deer photo....
