I wanted to capture the way the beams of light were parallel to the bench slats. This is unedited, but it looks pretty good when the contrast is adjusted.

I like it. Early morning frost in the air?

The EXIF says nearly noon, but yes. There was still frost on the ground, I was hoping for some sparkle from it.

Heh. My EXIF data is always "wrong" since I set the clock on the camera to GMT and never change it no matter where I am in the world.

Good idea. I set the EXIF once and never change it for Daylight Savings Time, etc. So it can be off by an hour, or more if I change time zones. Good idea to use GMT.

It's pretty. 1/4oo was pehaps a triffle long for what little haze is left to empasize beams, but today this is mostly adjustable after the fact indeed.

Sonja, thanks for the comments.

I'm certain there were ice sparkles on the ground, at the time I was just learning that a camera does not have nearly the same range as a human eye.

I was a little disappointed not to have captured the sparkles, as far as I can remember.

Post-processing can be fun, but it's usually a lot of work.

Anything you can get in-camera is better.
