The cake was in fact delicious (I've never tried the recipe before) with a nice Christmas flavour (cinnamon, ginger and allspice). Let me know if you want to try the recipe.
300 g wheat flour
200 g of liquid or melted margarine
6 eggs
300 g sugar
3 cups sour milk or ylette
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 tsp st. cinnamon
2 tsp st. ginger
2 tsp st. cloves
Garnish:
Icing
Chocolate Buttons
Glaze
Do as follows;
1. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy
2. Add margarine and sour milk.
Sift and mix flour, baking powder, ginger, cloves and cinnamon in the dough.
3. Pour batter into a large roasting pan lined with baking paper.
Bake at 200 degrees for approx. 20 minutes.
When cake has cooled you can cut it out in different sizes circles and stack them with frosting between and decorate it as you like.
