Loot as in treasure?
Andreas Bucher-Mack plus July 21, 2008, 05:46 PM
Sure, I was meaning loot as in treasure!

As a daughter of "real vikings"... [TM by Marie Langhoff-Roos] ;-)

I was searching a word for "Beutestück". Babylon says "loot, booty, spoil, plunder ". "Beutestücke" pl. are things you carry home after a shopping tour. ;-)

After consulting wikipedia, I decided that loot is the word I want to use. Why? In the German part of Wikipedia "Loot" is a "thing" you can collect in Games. (This is a very short description!)

BTW: A very, very nice earring! From Pilgrim or something like that?

Haha :D
Thank you for explaining :-)
Loot is a new word to me, but I like it and I think it is a good choice ;-)
The earrings is not from Pilgrim, but could easily have been. I don't remember where I bought it or what brand it is, but I've used them a lot :-)
