Absolutely what I thought! The sunset has some fantastic colours, and the almost monochromatic foreground really brings those out. And the sun is hypnotic....

In fact this was in the morning - sunrise. You're looking southeast. The picture is back from January.

Really, Marcus? A sunset is usually more colourful than a sunrise, particularly with those colours. I guess it's a particularly beautiful sunrise, then :-)

I think it was the combination of the slight fog and the fact that it was, and had been, snowing a bit.
