Washing brains in Graz

We were invited to join "Getuned" an exhibition in beautiful Graz, 10th-17th June 2006.
A welcome opportunity to revitalize the Brainwashingmachine, which was created in 1998 and has served in a great number of successful brainwashs.
To our delight the computerized interior of the machine worked pretty fine when we reconneted them ...
so next step had to be to check if the case's electronics were still in working order and communicating with the computer.

Frank was there to assist Christoph with the hardware mounting, so I could take some shots of the process.
The "board" - which is a x486 on a wood case, with a special soundcard, where samples are stored as midi-instruments - has to be sunk carefully into the case, so as not to damage any cables that are running inside the machine's body.
Here we go. Carefully!
It's in ... all gone well.
Hooked up and booting.
Success! Stored brainwaves from previous sessions as input for the brainwashingmachine produce not only the important wash-sounds ...
... but also the graphic equalizer on the front side of the machine.
The turning knob whith which the washing program is selected works as well!
All in all a quite successful session. Graz we're coming to wash your brains!
Update: here's Chris applying the grinder to fit the new lid on the brainwashingmachine ...
... which is also getting a fresh paint-job.
The dummy, Evi Tauchen is lending us, has already tried on the electrode cap too.
Update2: First pics from Graz!
2 days before opening of the exhibit, Chris and I travelled to Graz and installed the machine.
Everything looks good so far!
