no use cutting the cable in this wireless world of today. only way to get complete offline is to set off an emp device.

though, we're still waiting for someone to implement wireless current. the technology has been around for decades: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_coil .

Agreed, one have to take extreme measures these days to get off. I had to turn my Airport off!!!! Actually it was more a mental picture, was feeling kind off!
Rainy Monday... and a heavy deadline pushing... hmmm.. Things are really kicking again.

Oh cool, can't wait to put my tongue in that pad. But where's the innovation here!? We need wireless power that is transmittet through the air to the device. I have heard that some Samsung engineers think it is possible, but they where working with some "health issues".
