Laut Reiseführer bindet die Lehmschicht, die die Hügel so farbenfroh bedeckt, so gut die Flüssigkeit, dass Pflanzen ihr das Wasser nicht entziehen können. Daher eignet sich das Zeug angeblich ideal als Katzenstreu.
