women's ward - seaview hospital
across the street from the farm colony, this one a little tougher to get in, as it is right in the middle of a functioning hospital campus and actually borders an active parking lot in view of the security office at the gates.
this shot is below street level, and those windows ahead look out of the tunnel which continues to the right and which i ventured a ways down eventually. absolutely stunning inside - they seemed to really have just 'switched off the lights' when the last patient walked out in 1975.

Amazing and beyond my comprehension all the stuff that was left inside--and I'm getting it second hand. Can't imagine what it was like to see it first hand. And the fact that a fully functioning facility sits belly up to all of this. Truly remarkable.
