once again, firewater. another great show (and thx to lori for getting me in this one!). played pretty much the same set as southpaw, opening with 'hey clown' and following with one of the only non-new tracks they played, a wonderfully revamped 'some strange reaction'. some technical probs stopped the show for about 10 minutes in the middle, but didn't put a damper on anything. six great musicians on stage and the new music is very upbeat, neither rock nor world or folk, but definitely a unique mix of that and more. in case you missed the links from the last set, here's one on the making of the album - a pretty neat tour outside the u.s. here's a quick snippet from that nite on youtube - not much to look at, but listen to that girl go on trombone and a quick link to the music |
