bought this for lina. she works in the child education field, and i thought this would be a perfect xmas prezzy when she arrived for her visit from singapore. delivered three months too late.
a laptop designed for kids to connect, all over the world. the teaching software on it is incredible. still scratching my head on how to work it.
those doggone bullies intel and microsoft tried to stop this program, but they didn't succeed wholly. a $100 laptop is here, and it works, and i love it.

mmm But is its price really $100?

this XO has been offered to Brazilian government for over US$200, they say that's because of maintenance and internet connection costs

yr right thomas. originally a $100 machine, still like to think about it that way, but cost issues made em raise it to $200. cost $399 for this and of course the 'give one'
