elegy for astor
sweet lou plays again. always great when he plays - the music just muscles inside. cant imagine him playing with a full band. his tones are so full and ring so soundly, anyone else would distract. think a late 70's movie, hero driving a car down a rainslicked borough nyc road and a solo sax playing heartbroke music around. here's a piece, very xmasy unfort or not, that hints at it |
