I was kinda cringing all along the way, but you said it's tasty--gotta believe ya! and then, sure--'like eating an alien' who doesn't know what THAT tastes like . . . .

it looks like a small "jaca" (jackfruit), but as told by wikipedia, they are not from the same family :D
