no no - to the tags. however, if you havw time in your insane bookreading sched & want to squeeze him in, i recommend three. o/c 'on the road', and then 'tristessa', finally 'visions of cody'. best of the best methinks (but before that, dammit, read matt ruff's 'bad monkey' - speaking of philip dick (crossed w/christopher moore)).
his (kerouac's) look at earlier ny itself worth it (tho tristessa has no ny, just love w/ drugs and sadness)

damn--now just look what my misunderstanding caused!!!! :))) And I WILL read Ruff first. As soon as Ingram sees fit to send it. Thanks for the recommends!! Ashamed to say I've never read Kerouac, but why not confess to the world, eh?? heh heh And as long as I'm in the confessional, I'll just say I haven't read Phillip K. Dick, either. YET. Dammit. Now you have my mouth watering! Argh!! Oh the wicked plight of the book lover! yummmmmm
