femi kuti @ summerstage, july 11th. what a pleasure to see him again, after 10 or so years. had the pleasure to see his dad once (back in the early 90's @# the majestic - something like 70 people onstage - it was pretty insane) and he didn't disappoint. like his father, a rather outspoken critic of the gov't. he said his pieces. rocked. then said his piece again. marvelous
