Hms Ardent RASing with RFA Grey Rover
Sorry about the quality as its a thirty year old photo with damp marks. Was unable due to bandwidth able to upload as a scanned photo ,and had to resort to photograhing it hence the flash mark. Rasing is Replenishment at Sea and Ardent is taking on oil to the connection just next to the 4.5 inch gun. Im in the photo on the bridge wing standing next to the captain as I did on every RAS whilst I was on board. It was my Ras special sea duty to be the captains RAS order recorder. |
