Hello, Volker!!! where were you? on vacation??!? :D
A lot of time?? no, not at all :) A flowering climber Ipomoea purpurea had enough blossoms in all stages of development. The truth is that ... well, as usual, the idea to make a photoset came much later and unfortunately, I've missed some stages, as I can see! ;)

but, now I found a very nice scanning electron microscope image of pollen from the same flower!
