Born in 1963 in Berlin (West) i had a small period where I worked as a pro-photographer for a yellow press agency, but that wasn't my kind of work. So I went to the moving images and started working at television but never in front of the camera ;)Today I live not too far from Cologne (DE) and work as a freelancer Visionmixer or technical director. I have an old Nikon F3 set with beautiful lenses (I love my 180/1:2.8) but obviously it's kind of useless now. My only hope is the rebirth of the chemical photography maybe caused by a big nostalgica wave. I recently bought a used Canon Powershot G2 which I'm quite satisfied with. And I have a Teleconverter for it (not very comfortable) For my girls I just bought a "simple" Fuji cam, but I'm quite suprized about its talents.
