Because I was a little bit scary of damaging my camera's USB-port, when tether shooting, I made me this strain relief. I want to share my idea with you. Maybe it's useful for some of you.

I don't understand how it helps? The cord can still be pulled, can it not?

It can. But only until the shunt reactor stops it. If there is no shunt reactor you can make a knot into the cable.

Such a simple solution (I've ended up using the connectionpoint for the strap for relief but this is more elegant :)). My experience though is that the weak spot is the cable and not the port on the camera. So far I've managed to break connectors on two cables, while the camera hasn't suffered any damage.
