Info from Alex Karmel, A Corner in the Marais. Claude, it's amazing that we got in - very rare, according to Karmel. Building is now a foundation for helping aging/indigent artists.

I remember that place. The thing is, they are public monuments. So they can keep the gates or doors closed, but as long as they are open, they can't really stop you from entering ;)
