It cracks me up that my mom has chickens for neighbors. She lives in town, yet across the street, this one little spot was zoned as outside the city limits. The folks who live there have a small little farm with horses and some sheep (I think) and used to have pigs. Plus of course--"the neighbors". My mom is not the hugest fan of the setup although she really likes the human neighbors. Now, that property is zoned as inside the city limits, so when those folks move away--no more dinner living across the street!
