bere, absolutely, Lüneburg is such a lovely town - although it used to be more lively when the university campus was in the center - nowadays the university has moved to an outside campus and a lot of the flair and liveliness moved, too. Still, gorgeous architecture and most of the city center is a pedestrian zone.

oh dhania, so i guess i'll be late for the real taste of Lüneburg, still hope to visit it on my next trip to Germany (God knows when that will be...) i am still hopeful and would really like to visit Hamburg and Berlin!

what about your plans of coming to "Amerika"? the route 66 still going on your plans? would be great to see you around here!

The US of A... well... it is still on the wishlist but right now out of reach. Need to sell a few more books till then ;)

yup, I am an author - and with some luck there will be an English edition of one of my cookbooks this year. When I have finished the translation I'll work on a scifi and a historical novel (already plotted and ready to go) and ... well a ton of projects actually ;)

woow!! oh that's so great dhania!! you got a wonderful profession! please keep me updated on your cookbooks, i'd love to have the English version for me!! (Mein' Deutsch ist sehr schlecht to attempt to cook from german ;) maybe i can even buy an autographed copy, that would be soooo cool!
i have seen your food blog before, but since i stopped the German classes, german gives me a headache, heh heh, i will try next semester german 3 anyways and maybe i can understand your recipes in original language...

as for your historical novel and sci-fi, wow!! rather interesting genres both!! please keep us posted about your books!

and i wanted to ask about the historical novel, which era, but i guess is somehow nosy to ask that, so i will wait for the book to come out :) good luck with all your projects!!

alright!! that's something i'd love to read!! :)))
when i was a teenager i was obsessed for a couple of months with Egyptology heh heh, i read all i could about Tutankhamun's tomb's discovery and the biographies of Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon... also one old time favorite book of mine was Sinuhe, the Egyptian by Mika Waltari
