Chris Scagos

I was born in a small town in Rhode Island and I came out to Los Angeles shortly after I graduated college. My first job was as a waiter at a restaurant directly across from an elite private school. The kids would laugh and point at me as I scrubbed dirty windows. My boss was a disrespectful creep who wouldn’t pay me. I could barely make rent!
Five years later I am executive producing and starring in my own full feature film This Is Not Georgia. I feel so blessed that someone of my position could create a film that will impact so many lives and bring awareness to the stigma that is mental illness.
