this is herr Gato, a cat who escaped from the building next door a couple of months ago, it seems that 2 kids living there sort of terrorized him, so came to live in our little house complex, my neighbor took care of him for a while and then he was sort of inherited to me, he's an outdoor cat, who doesn't enjoy being that much at my house but runs around the complex of houses and makes sure that things in the alley and front yard are always in order...

a few weeks after herr Gato joined us, a 9-month old (the vet said) black & white tuxedo kitty came to our place too, she was spayed so surely escaped from a home, nobody came to ask for her, so she lives here too

since we didn't want to name the cats in case their original 'owners' would come to get them, i started calling them Gato and Kitty (rather original, i know) and by now they've become their names, officially, herr Gato and frau Kitty (at times called miss Kitty too). Is cool to have the felines around, but indeed they are much more work than my fish was, yet i am glad to introduce them to 23

ah! & herr Gato loves this pillar, from here he can supervise both inside the house and the alley at the same time
