Las Vegas: we don't believe in solar power nor humility here...

Las Vegas is such a shocking place, it was strange to arrive there for the 1st time in my life and stay just 1 night after being at the Grand Canyon, where nature, animals, fresh air and desert ruled... all of a sudden, in the middle of the desert you find this kingdom of sin (ha ha) and excesses, money, cigarette smoke everywhere, alcohol on the streets, excesses, and just lots of people craving for fun... i just spent some hours there and wow, i want to go back to take photos and 'cause i am curious, but i could never live on a city like this, just too too much party going on, sort of scary place indeed, fun for a couple of hours and then rather depressing, ... all that waste of energy!

I hope they are using power-saving lamps at least! ;-)

Incredible waste of power! But it's very impressive! (especially for photographers)

yes, thanks stevie, arodes, herr volker, and yes mixed feelings at this city, i'd love to go back to photograph but it's hard to deal with so much exuberance sometimes! glad i can visit Las Vegas but again glad to be not part of it at all ;) i would like to go back to the downtown area where we didn't go, there are the 50's casinos there, where all started
