yes stefan!
almost all is pre-fabricated
in Mexico is very different, houses and building are much "firmer" looking... here in USA, the main structures are wood and some pre-fabricated materials, that's why there fires are so destructive around here, yet wood is still the main "ingredient" of a house, a pre-fabricated materials the main part of a building structure

hmm ... i'm not an engineer. above picture looks a bit like a film-setting (from the back). but something interesting about wood: it isn't that bad in case of fire as you would expect - the steel in steel-armed concrete tends to get weak or even melts when it's getting to hot, whereas wood keeps its stability (to a certain degree) even when it burns ... well, don't try at home ;)

oh i see stefan, i didn't think of wood from that point of view, and you are right from the back the photos looks like a stage wall... and NO i won't try it at home heh heh
