That's an impresive (?)usplash screen for xubuntu, but the reflected logo add some clutter to it...

istoyanov - yes, that's exactly what I also thought! The text can well be reflected, but the logo behind the text is odd...

I'd prefer the text being elegantly simple to the extreme, so I really regret that the Feisty splash screen has been replaced with this one:(

Otherwise, the package selection seems really promising:)

I didn't really like the Feisty one, the more because it was barely visible when your screen brightness isn't set as high as possible. The Edgy one was gorgeous though, but that less good on bright screens.
And yes, the packages selected are awesome :)

Yes, you're right, Vincent -- I couldn't easily find an earlier picture, but now I have found one and can only regret that the devs have dropped it in favor if the new one...
