Looks like an animal of a kind. Great light and reflections :)

very interesting melting / freezing pattern.

you can try to reverse engineer the structure and attempt to visualize how the icicle began and grew to that state.

@striatic: it would be really interesting, if I had any idea on how to reverse engineer an icicle...

this was a real male discussion, wasn't it ? ;-)

Sexism! ;)

@Martina Weber: *now* it's a real male discussion -- it's really not one until a woman complains it is ;->

I loved it. Now if we just had luckyoliver.com around you could post it there and sell it, over and over again.
does anyone sell to fotofolio, i am not sure of the spelling. I buy from there sometimes?
I really like your 'eye' rat race. how big is it actually?

Oh dear I feel so dumb, I just stumbled upon this site and just looked at yours and a chihuahua then wrote my comments. Then I went and looked at your other photographs. You are a professional photographer. I thought this site was just amatuers posting their pics.
I beg your pardon about lucky oliver. You are a fabulous artist. I delighted in slideshowing your pics of winter, just beautiful.
Thanks for posting your artwork, it inspired me.

An animal, without a doubt. "La pulce d'acqua" comes to mind.

@bettybakebake: a professional photographer? me? You're pulling my leg, definitely.

P. S. Anyway, my pics are not on sale. You can download them for free in the large format and print them as you see fit -- as long as you acnowledge the authorship and don't sell them yourself.

Like Anker, I think that it looks like an animal, a deer maybe. Just lovely
