This is my fix for paynekj's image in the "Fix my pic" group.

I've been a little less drastic than dhania: I adjusted the black and white points, then applied a curve to increase the contrast in the shadows, lift the overall luminance, and slightly flatten the contrast in mid tones and highlights. I've also dealt with the rotation, and I don't think it's spoilt the image as much as dhania feared it might. And in any case I can't cope with leaning verticals!

I agree the leaning verticals are really a bummer, but for me cutting off the roof didn't work aesthetically. Great job.

I think the rotation was a good idea and you've cropped it in the right place, but knowing what you've done, I looked at the buildings in the distance which are now leaning left! It's not a problem as they aren't very noticeable.

I like what you've ended up with.

Thanks paynekj! I did notice that problem with the distant houses, but I just hoped no-one else would! :)
