Hmmm, good question. I just was trying not to diminish this in any sense. I specially like the saturated, minimal palette.

I'm glad you liked the saturation. When you've got reds like these it's very easy to let the red channel blow out even when the exposure as a whole seems fine. Because the D300 has separate colour histograms I was able to ensure that the red channel didn't blow, and that's what has kept the saturation high.
