Ja, there are 3 skating rinks here in Bern and they are open (approx.) from end September to middle March. The fourth "rink" we have is the loveliest: A small lake called "Egelsee" which is a wonderful natural ice skating rink when it is frozen. Then "tout Berne" is on the ice! - I will certainly post pictures the next time we get there...

At last, Marie!
Due to the severe cold they could let the public walk and skate on the ice of our lake "Egelsee" in Bern. - For the first time since Jan/Feb 2009. One very happy part of this season!
