Doesn't sound nearly as pretty as Primrose, though the beauty of the flower is the same =) Nice find and capture!

The Cowslip is a primrose, but primrose is a less specific word for many a primula. Important is just that it means the *lip* of the bovine, not the slip. I tought the english name to a kid starting at english in school and the result was a number of jokes on various farm animals lingerie... cant see one now without thinking of the Sexy Simmental Sisters parading beefy underware fashions.... Saint Peter with the keys would be embarassed.
