Myodes or Mycrotus sp. I think. Anyway, the little imp was extemely cute, looked a bit like a miniature of a muskrat in the face, sported huge eyes and a short tail, and he could jump well, although he was not much bigger than a quail egg. / Ich denke Eine Roetel oder Wuehlmaus Sorte. Jedenfalls sah der suesse kleine Saperloetter im Gesicht einem Bisam aehnlicher als einer Hausmaus und hatte grosse Knopfaugen aber ein relativ kurzes Schwaenzchen. Er konnte auch sehr hoch springen obwohl er kaum viel groesser als ein Wachtelei war. |
