I think, there are not much left in Germeny !?

No, Martina, there are only a few older ones (which means 17th-19th century beams left in the current structure and usually a longer history of high water destruction and rebuilding at former major routes), but in the region around the major eastern lake constance tributaries is the highest density. I know 6 nice and authentic german ones you could reach very conveniently from your home: 2 crosing the Schussen, 3 crossing the Argen and 1 crossing the Leiblach.

I know one in Lustenauer Ried (Senderstrasse) and Sevelen CH

Senderstrasse... I want a good unhurried look on this for years, but my husband is usually incencesed when we get into that area because of the traffic circumstances and all, he never consents to stopping.
But Vorarlberg got more. I think the best and oldest is the one at Mellau.
Swizzerland is of course full of old protected covered bridges, got more than all of the States in the USA together...
