Of course. If they see people they usually do not leave but face them. Many swans love bread although it is not good for them and identify human as the source, and they are strong big birds in their own class on the lakes and ponds that identify as near equals to us. I liked this ones mirroring in the calm water, but had to be fast, least it starts to draw nearer and spoils it.
